As Games Syndicate Cologne e.V., we are committed to actively promoting the games industry in its entirety in the Cologne region and offering the community spaces for creativity, exchange and growth. With our projects, we create added value for developers, foundersand anyone who wants to help shape the industry.
A central building block is the Game Starter Foundry, our Cologne games incubator. This project is being realized together with strong partners such as the KölnBusiness Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft and the Cologne Game Lab at the TH Köln. We support the incubator in terms of content and ensure that female foundersand developersreceive the best possible support – from workshops and mentoring to a strong network.
In addition, we offer an attractive co-working offer in cooperation with Startplatz Köln. Members benefit from exclusive conditions and find an inspiring home base for their work – ideal for networking, collaboration and productive work.

The Game Starter Foundry is an incubation program for young game studios and start-ups in the games industry. It aims to support dedicated teams in structuring their company and guide them through the entire process – from brainstorming to the release of their games.

Cluster
The Games Cluster Cologne is a new initiative by Games Syndicate Cologne e.V. and Startplatz, which aims to strengthen Cologne and NRW as an important location for the games and esports industry. By 2026, a modern co-working hub will be created in the heart of Cologne’s creative district – with flexible workspaces, offices and community areas specifically for studios, start-ups and freelancers.
