COLOGNE WAS RIGHT AT THE HEART OF IT
On July 11th and 12th, we attended the Indie Game Fest 2025 at the Wasserturm Hotel Cologne. Looking back, it was a weekend that once again proved how vibrant, innovative, and connected the indie games scene in Cologne truly is. As a partner of the festival, we were present on both days, engaging in dialogue with developers, studios, publishers, investors, and many other key industry players.
With formats such as “Media Meets Games”,realized in collaboration with the INDIE Hub, we focused on building bridges between the games industry and other media sectors. It is precisely in these spaces where new perspectives, collaborations, and ideas emerge that strengthen Cologne as a business location in the long term.
We were especially pleased to see so many of our members on-site, including Ahoiii Entertainment UG, 6side Studio, Headup GmbH, and Spoonful Games GmbH. Our collective presence demonstrated just how strong and diverse the Cologne ecosystem has become.
