Why a strong network is about more than just growth
Sometimes, a room full of dedicated people is all it takes to realize how powerful a community can truly be. This was once again clearly demonstrated at our first General Assembly of 2026.
We were delighted by the high turnout and the strong engagement of our members. It is always something special to see how our community evolves and how valuable a network becomes when it doesn’t just grow, but is actively lived. A big thank you goes to STARTPLATZ for the opportunity to host the event at their location.
In addition to organizational topics, a significant milestone was on the agenda: the expansion of our Executive Board. We are very pleased to welcome Michaela Bartelt-Krantz as the new Treasurer of the Games Syndicate Cologne and look forward to our future collaboration.
In her own words, she describes her motivation as follows: She has been closely connected to Cologne and the games industry for many years and is excited to bring this experience to the Board.
